I took some pics of the girls the other day. Some of them are starting to show especially Sugar the Saanen doe thinking maybe she will have triplets she is bred to Alejandro or Lamancha buck. Smore who is bred to Scout is also starting to show.

Doe Breeding update

Well we bred our Alpine doe JuJuBee to our registered togg buck Scout yesterday. I really love JuJuBee's color can't wait to see what the kids will look like. Her kids should be great dairy animals and will be for sale when they are born

The Three Billy Goats

     Well we picked up another buck a 18 month old toggenburg. He is registered and out of good lines. His mother won grand champion at the Big E this year. We will use him to breed a couple of our does, but mostly will will be offering him for stud. So meet Scout.

   Along with Scout we have our herd buck Alejandro a registered Lamancha. We should know if he is proven in a couple of days. As we bred Sugar, Firefly and S'more to him for late February early March kids.

   Than we have a little Saanen buck that is Sugars baby. He will be moving on in the next couple of weeks.

Saanen Buck For Sale

I have a six month old Saanen buck for sale. I was going to use him for breeding but I just bought a buck unrelated to any of my does so I am going to sell him. He is very friendly. His mom gives over a gallon of milk a day.

Angelfly is Growing up!!!!

    My Lamancha doeling Angelfly is growing up she may be the nicest doe we have raised to date. She is out of my nine year old doe Firefly. She is the only Doe I have kept out of her and I cant see breeding Fly more than one more time even though she has never had a problem kidding she is also the sweetest goat ever. I will miss her immensely when she does pass on. Anyways this post wasn't supposed to be about her we will save that for another post and day. I am hoping to breed Angelfly in January if she looks big enough. For now here are some pictures her. She is kinda my pride and joy.

Meet the Giants

        I picked up two six month old male Flemish giants a few days ago. They are not full grown yet as males don't reach there full size until they are about a year and a half old. Flemish Giants come in many different colors these guys are white. I am hoping to get a female so I can breed them. My younger brother and sister love them and have named them Salt and Cloud.

   

Silks and a Showgirl

About a month ago I picked up a few Silkies and a Showgirl chicken. Silkies are a cute little breed great for pets and those who want broody hens, as they make wonderful mothers. My 10 year old brother and 6 year old sister love them. You can just pick them right up. We have three color types white, black, and partridge.

Bantam Buff Brahma

   I kinda have been collecting roosters over the past few months. I have a nice mix so I figured I would show you some. I currently have a Partridge Rock, Sumatra, Light Brahma,Rhode Island Red, SumatraXBarred Rock, Silver Gray Dorkings, Black Rosecomb, and Buff Brahma. Maybe next time I will show you the girls or maybe my Silkies. ENJOY!!
